hi! i'm sara. and I'm so glad you're here!
i am a traveling photographer and film maker, based south of nashville, who’s life long passion of documentation has manifested into a dream of visual storytelling.
i spent the majority of the last decade living on the road and exploring a huge part of the united states. I learned to romanticize life while sleeping in shitty motel rooms. during this time i photographed families, weddings, and commercial work, while also documenting my own adventures for my personal blog. during this time, I connected with so many inspiring humans all over the states.
when i’m not out on the road, I enjoy the quiet and stillness of being at home. I live in a tiny home on wheels on a 12 acre farm in the tennessee countryside.
my passion is simply to tell your story and help document this wild and beautifully chaotic journey we are all on through honest photographs and film.

i live to be outdoors. I have a bucket list dream to visit and hike in every national park.
music is a huge part of my life & a big source of inspiration. Some of my favorites are the beatles, bon iver, david bowie, The smiths, Foo Fighters, & novo amor.
i’m also endlessly inspired by film. everything ranging from Wes Anderson to christopher guest to a24 films.
i’ve been roller skating since i was 5 and am always looking for skating pals.

Having followed Sara's work for so long - I knew the minute I found out I was having a shower thrown for me in Nashville that I wanted her to be the one to capture the special day that would be spent with so many special people. Sara was wonderful to work with from the moment we booked her to the day-of. She seamlessly blended in to all the party goers and caught all those small detailed magical moments you only hope someone has eyes on during a special day. Looking through the final photos in our gallery - I couldn't help but feel like she completely understood my vision and captured everything I wanted out of the day. Investing in her was the best part of the shower I couldn't recommend her enough for both her work, her shining personality (we basically wanted her to stay after the shower and get to know everyone) and her amazing images.
